شيخ الأزهر يجدد نداءه لكل الأشقاء بدولنا "العربيَّة والإسلاميَّة "للوقف الفوري لأعمال الحروب والقتال

وجهه الإمام الأكبر دكتور أحمد الطيب شيخ الأزهر نداءه لكل الأشقاء في دولنا العربيَّة والإسلاميَّة -للوقف الفوري لكل أعمال الحروب والقتال-، وكتب شيخ الأزهر عبر صفحته الرسمية على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيس بوك” قائلًا: 

من مصر العروبة، ومن قلب الأزهر الشريف، نوجه نداءً أخويًّا عاجلًا إلى كل الأشقاء في دولنا العربيَّة والإسلاميَّة كافة، بضرورة تغليب روح الأخوة وروابط الدين والدم واللغة، وإعلاء صوت الحكمة، والاحتكام إلى لغة العقل والحوار، والوقف الفوري والشامل لكل أعمال الحرب والقتال والتَّدمير والتَّخريب التي تستنزف مقدَّرات الشُّعوب وتُزهق أرواح الأبرياء.

وأضاف: كما ندعو إلى تشكيل لجنة وساطة وتهدئة عاجلة، تضم ممثلين من مختلف الدول العربية والإسلامية؛ من العقلاء والحكماء المخلصين، ومن محبِّي الخير والسَّلام والاستقرار؛ تحقيقًا لقوله تعالى: ﴿وَإِن طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا﴾ سورة الحجرات (الآية 9)، لتتولى بشكل عاجل نزع فتيل الأزمات والصراعات المشتعلة، وتقريب وجهات النَّظر، وإنهاء الخلافات القائمة بين أبناء الدين الواحد والأمة الواحدة، وبما يحفظ للعرب قوتهم وسيادتهم، وصون دماء أبنائهم ومقدَّرات شعوبهم وأجيالهم القادمة.

هذا؛ وإن الأزهر الشريف لعلى أتم الاستعداد بأن يبذل أقصى ما يستطيع لدعم جهود هذه اللجنة المباركة، وكلنا ثقة بحكمة كل الأطراف وقدرتهم على تجاوُز الخلافات وطي صفحة الماضي؛ حقنًا للدماء المعصومة، وحفظًا لأرواح الأبرياء، وتغليبًا للمصلحة العامة.
نسأل المولى -عز وجل- أن يحفظ أمتنا العربية والإسلامية من كل مكروهٍ وسوءٍ، وأن يُجنِّب منطقتنا ويلات الحروب والصراعات، إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه.

We issue an urgent، fraternal appeal to all our brotherly Arab and Muslim nations to uphold the spirit of fraternity and the bonds of faith، kinship، and shared language; give precedence to wisdom; embrace reason and dialogue; and bring about an immediate and comprehensive cessation of all acts of war، fighting، destruction، and devastation that deplete nations’ resources and claim innocent lives.

We also call for the urgent formation of a Mediation and De-escalation Committee comprising representatives from across the Arab and Muslim worlds، selected from among respected، wise، and principled figures sincerely committed to peace، reconciliation، and stability. This appeal is inspired by the words of Almighty Allah: “And if two groups of believers fight each other، then make peace between them.” (The Quran، 49:9).

The committee would be tasked with taking immediate action to defuse ongoing crises and conflicts، bridge differences between the parties concerned، and resolve disputes among members of the same faith and Ummah. Its efforts would seek to safeguard the strength and sovereignty of Arab nations، protect the lives of their peoples، and preserve their resources for future generations.

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif affirms its full readiness to spare no effort in supporting the work of this blessed committee. It expresses its unwavering confidence in the wisdom of all parties and their ability to overcome differences، turn the page on past disputes، prevent further bloodshed، protect innocent lives، and place the common good above all other considerations. We pray to Almighty Allah to protect the Arab and Muslim worlds from all harm and adversity and to spare the region the horrors and suffering of war and conflict. Indeed، He alone is the Protector، and He has power over all things.
